Billionaire Howard Says Abu Dhabi Can Rival London as Global Hub

Billionaire Alan Howard, whose hedge fund is the largest operating out of Abu Dhabi, said the Gulf city was well on its way to joining Western centres like London and New York as a global financial hub.

A couple years ago, “I thought it would be the third leg or one of the three legs with New York and London,” Howard said at the Abu Dhabi Financial Week on Monday. “I think it’s fully on that way to already be there.” His hedge fund now has 150 people in the emirate, he said.
