Stocks Gain on Rate Cut Bets, Bitcoin Extends Rebound
US stocks rose as a drop in November payrolls stoked bets that the Federal Reserve will cut rates again next week.
S&P 500 Index rose 0.3% on Wednesday, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up by 0.9%. The Nasdaq 100 increased 0.2% and the Russell 2000 advanced 1.9%.
