Pentagon Blasts ‘Legacy Media’ at Briefing for New Press Corps

Photographer: Al Drago/BloombergThe Pentagon defended a series of missile strikes in the Caribbean Sea, lambasted Democrats and criticized traditional news organizations in a press briefing where attendance was limited to media that have agreed to limits on the scope of their reporting.
“Our intelligence absolutely confirms who these people are,” Pentagon Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson told reporters of the 21 strikes that have killed more than 80 people since early September in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific Ocean. “Without a shadow of a doubt, every single one of our military and civilian lawyers knows that these individuals are narco-terrorists.”
