Just Eat Founder Steps Down as CEO After Prosus Acquisition

Just Eat Takeaway.com NV founder Jitse Groen will step down as chief executive officer of the food-delivery company and will be succeeded by an executive at its new owner Prosus NV.

Roberto Gandolfo is currently the chairman of Just Eat’s supervisory board and the European head of Dutch technology investor Prosus. He will take the top job at Just Eat on Jan. 1, Amsterdam-headquartered Just Eat said in a statement on Tuesday. Gandolfo joined Prosus this year, after previously working at the company’s Latin American food delivery firm iFood as the CEO of its marketplace business.
