Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. will have to raise the prices of its high-end motorcycles if it wants to offset the impact of US tariffs.

The company’s motorbikes rely on engines and other components delivered from Japan, making them subject to US President Donald Trump’s import duties, Chief Executive Officer Yoshinori Kanehana said in an interview on Bloomberg TV on Monday. The tariffs may also affect around 4,000 workers currently employed in Nebraska, he said.
