Jamaica Gets $6.7 Billion in Funding to Rebuild After Hurricane

Jamaica secured a three-year financing package from multilateral lenders totaling $6.7 billion to help rebuild following a devastating hurricane that damaged key infrastructure, industry and homes.
The funds are coming from the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, the Caribbean Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank Group, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, according to a statement.
