Indonesia Says 303 Dead in Three Provinces Due to Severe Rains

Indonesia’s national disaster agency has raised its death toll from the severe rains sweeping parts of the archipelago to 303, all in the provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.
The number of fatalities due to floods and landslides increased from 174 a day earlier, the agency said in a statement Sunday. A total of 279 people are still missing.
