Norse Atlantic ASA board of directors has replaced the Norwegian budget airline’s founder and chief executive officer, days after the company said it would fail to become profitable for another year.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, who founded Norse in 2021, will step down with immediate effect and be succeeded by Eivind Roald, the carrier said on Friday in a statement. Larsen will continue to serve as chairman of the board.
