Italy managed to notch up some slight growth in the third quarter amid support from domestic demand, instead of just stagnating as originally estimated.

Gross domestic product in the euro-zone’s third-biggest economy rose 0.1% in the three months through September, according to revised data issued in Rome on Friday by Istat, the national statistics agency.
