Czech Growth Picks Up Pace in Boost for Cautious Rate Stance
Czech economic growth accelerated more than expected in the third quarter, adding to reasons for the central bank to maintain tight monetary policy.
Gross domestic product rose 0.8% from the previous quarter and 2.8% from a year earlier, a faster expansion than reported in the flash estimate last month, the statistics office said Friday. The readings were also above the central bank’s projections for the quarter.
