Rwanda’s Kagame Accuses Congo of Violating Peace Accords

The Democratic Republic of Congo isn’t sticking to its commitments under US and Qatar-backed peace agreements, prolonging conflict in its eastern region, Rwandan President Paul Kagame said.

Rwanda-backed M23 rebels have occupied the two biggest cities in mineral-rich eastern Congo since the beginning of the year, causing massive displacement and a growing humanitarian crisis.
