Ukraine Reaches $8.2 Billion IMF Deal Amid Funding Risks
The International Monetary Fund has announced an agreement with Ukraine on a new financing program, sending a positive signal to the war-torn nation’s international allies.
The IMF and the government in Kyiv have reached a staff-level agreement, the Washington-based lender said Wednesday. They agreed upon a new 48-month arrangement under the Extended Fund Facility, with potential access of around $8 billion.
