Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is starting to narrow a wide opposition lead in polls on the back of a series of pre-election spending initiatives.

Orban’s Fidesz trails opposition leader Peter Magyar’s Tisza party by 10 points among decided voters who say they’re certain to cast a ballot, HVG news website reported on Wednesday, citing a Nov. 20-25 Median survey. The gap was 13 points in September.
