Berlusconi’s MFE to Buy Stake in Portuguese Media Firm Impresa

Photographer: Francesca Volpi/BloombergMFE-MediaForEurope NV, the broadcaster controlled by Italy’s Berlusconi family, said on Wednesday it has agreed to buy a stake of 32.9% in Portugal’s Impresa SGPS SA.
Milan-based MFE will pay about €17.3 million ($20.1 million) to purchase 82.5 million newly issued Impresa shares at €0.21 each, the company said in a regulatory filing. The price represents a 19% discount to Wednesday’s closing level.
