Morocco Hospital Giant Eyes $1.6 Billion Gulf Expansion
Morocco’s biggest private health-care provider will raise equity funding from Gulf wealth managers and issue bonds to help cover a $1.6 billion expansion in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Akdital Holding plans as many as eight new hospitals in the two countries by 2030, Chief Executive Officer Rochdi Talib told Bloomberg in a phone interview on Monday. About $200 million of the funding will be used for Gulf diagnosis centers, he said.
