The European Union wants the US to reduce tariffs on the bloc’s exports of weapons below the 15% tariff ceiling agreed for many of its goods.

The EU is seeking a lower, so-called most-favored nation rate on artillery weapons, including howitzers and mortars, rocket and grenade launchers, flamethrowers, submachine guns, revolvers and pistols, according to a 27-page list of EU goods seen by Bloomberg.
