If the number of lawyers is an accurate measure of the amount of money at stake, then Daimler Truck Holding AG and other co-conspirators in a former price-fixing cartel have every reason for concern.
About 130 lawyers and their supporting experts will descend on a conference hall at Munich’s fairgrounds on Monday for a week-long battle. The hearings are part of a series of legal disputes involving billions of euros in damage claims against companies including Volkswagen AG’s MAN, Volvo AB and Daimler, the parent of Mercedes-Benz trucks.
