A UK politician will ask the University of Oxford’s leader about its handling of sexual harassment complaints, after a Bloomberg investigation found the institution had repeatedly been slow to act against male academics accused of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior. The report has also prompted the British Academy to open a probe into one of its members.

Layla Moran, the member of parliament for Oxford West and Abingdon, said Thursday that she would be “following up” with the university’s Vice-Chancellor Irene Tracey “to understand what more they can do to address this issue.”
