Child Poverty Efforts Stall Amid Funding Cuts, UN Says

Efforts at reducing child poverty worldwide are stalling amid a funding crisis for crucial programs, according to a United Nations report released on Thursday.

The report comes at time when many countries — including the US — are dramatically scaling back foreign assistance, jeopardizing momentum that has helped decrease child poverty rates over the last two decades.
