BCE Inc., Canada’s largest telecommunications firm by revenue, is letting go about 690 non-unionized employees as it implements a strategy to restore growth in earnings and cash flow.

The Quebec-based company unveiled a three-year plan last month that includes saving C$1.5 billion ($1.1 billion) in costs and expanding home internet services in western Canada and the US.
