Australian AI Startup Firmus Technologies in Debt Funding Talks

Firmus Technologies Pty., an Australian artificial intelligence technology firm, is in talks with potential financiers, including private credit funds, to raise debt for an expansion of data centers powered by Nvidia Corp. chips, according to people familiar with the matter.

The size of the debt package hasn’t been finalized and could reach into the billions, the people said, who asked not to be identified discussing private matters. Boutique advisory firm Highbury Partnership is working with Firmus, they added.
