Good morning, this is Savio Shetty, an equities reporter in Mumbai. Indian equities are poised for a cautious start this morning, echoing the risk-off sentiment across global markets. The odds of a Fed rate cut in December have diminished, while a selloff in major tech stocks has pushed U.S. equities toward their longest losing streak since August. Bitcoin’s 30% drop from its peak makes it one of the year’s worst-performing assets. Back home, mid- and small-cap stocks fell more sharply than large-caps on Tuesday, stoking concerns that persistent weakness could further dampen equity mutual fund inflows. That said, more Wall Street banks are turning bullish on Indian equities.
