German Quantum Computing Supplier Raith Weighs €1 Billion Sale

The private equity owner behind Raith, a German nano-technology supplier to critical tech sectors such as quantum computing, is exploring a sale of the business that could be valued at around €1 billion ($1.2 billion) in a deal, according to people familiar with the matter.

Capiton AG has tapped UBS Group AG to advise on the possible sale of Dortmund-based Raith and has reached out to potential buyers, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the information is private. Major US technology firms could be among those interested in the asset, the people said.
