Boeing Co. completed a successful flight test of the latest version of its KC-46 refueling plane’s camera system, a major step in fixing an issue that has delayed deliveries for the multibillion-dollar program.
Steve Parker, the head of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, said Sunday at the Dubai Airshow that the tanker’s remote vision system — which had caused problems for some operators — had been upgraded to version 2.0 and tested in flight. The Air Force had said earlier this year it might be put off until 2027.
