Heavy rains that drenched Los Angeles and the greater Southern California area have tapered off, but risks of high water, mudslides and rockslides in fire-burned areas will remain long after the rain is expected to end.

Rockfall and debris flow were reported along a stretch of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, shutting down a portion of State Route 27 while crews worked to remove hazards, according to Caltrans.
