Trump Administration Ditches Plan to Compensate Stranded Flyers

In a recent filing, the Trump administration said the department isn’t authorized under existing law to require such reimbursements or compensation, and it isn’t convinced the changes would “yield meaningful improvements in airline flight performance.”
