Doctor Strikes Are a Pain for the Man Tipped to Lead Britain

Callum Parr has been taking part in strikes for the past three years, his whole professional life.

“We are raising alarm bells around what we think is a failure of successive governments,” says the doctor, who at 27 years old is a prominent member of the British Medical Association — one of the country’s most active trade unions.
