Lukoil Talks to Bidders for Global Assets to Avert Supply Issues

Russian energy giant Lukoil PJSC said it’s talking to bidders about its international energy assets, with days to go before US sanctions against the company are due to begin.

“The company aims to ensure uninterrupted operations of assets during their sale and transfer to new owners,” Lukoil said in a statement. This will “avoid the risks of disruptions in the work and supply of energy resources” and save jobs.
