China will see its first cold wave of the season in the coming days, with chillier-than-normal conditions expected across the country, which may impact power demand.

Temperatures will fall more than 10C (18F) in many places through Monday, including in the populous central and eastern regions, the national forecaster said. Gusty conditions will add to the wind chill factor.
