AI Coding Leader Cursor Buys Firm That Helps Startups Recruit Talent

Cursor, a fast-growing artificial intelligence coding startup, is buying a firm that has helped support leading AI companies like OpenAI in their own recruiting efforts, the latest sign of an increasingly fierce talent war in the technology industry.

Cursor is set to announce Thursday that it has acquired Growth by Design, a tech recruiting strategy company. As part of the deal, Growth by Design will join Cursor’s in-house recruiting team and stop working with other clients, the companies said. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
