Stockholm restaurants don’t often get the credit they deserve; their Nordic neighbors in Copenhagen grab a lot of attention. But visitors dining in the Swedish capital know that it’s a bustling scene and that it keeps growing. New foodie neighborhoods such as Slakthusområdet are emerging, and Aira, Frantzén and other Michelin-starred heavyweights are going strong. What’s more, dining rooms in the city center are packed at lunch and on weekday nights. The Nordic nation’s economy may have been in the doldrums for the past three years, but you wouldn’t know it from the restaurants.
