Warburg’s Truhome Finance Said to Weigh $300 Million India IPO

Warburg Pincus LLC’s Truhome Finance Ltd. is considering an initial public offering that could raise about $300 million or more, according to people familiar with the matter.

The shadow lender — formerly known as Shriram Housing Finance Ltd. — has discussed with bankers about exploring an IPO that could value the company at about $1 billion, the people said, asking not to be identified as the discussions are private. The listing would likely take place next year, the people said.
