UK Communications Provider SCG Is Said to Mull £800 Million Sale

SCG, a British provider of telecom and cloud services to companies, is exploring a sale and is seeking a valuation of as much as £800 million ($1.05 billion), according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The Basingstoke, England-based firm is working with Houlihan Lokey Inc. to solicit interest from potential buyers, said the people, who asked not to be identified as information is private. Information about the sale could be sent to prospective bidders later this week, the people said.
