Oracle’s Ellison Gets More Employees After CEO Swap

Oracle Corp. co-founder and Chairman Larry Ellison added to the number of employees who report to him after the company changed chief executive officers in September.

About 64,000 workers at the company — or 40% of Oracle’s workforce — are overseen by 81-year-old Ellison, who also remains the company’s chief technology officer. He picked up some teams that were previously managed by former Chief Executive Officer Safra Catz, who was replaced by Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia, according to organizational charts seen by Bloomberg.
