Shares of Hungarian refiner Mol Nyrt. rose after Prime Minister Viktor Orban secured an exemption from US sanctions on Russian oil — which is key to the company’s operations.

Mol gained as much as 3.1% on Monday, the most in almost two weeks, after Orban won a reprieve at a meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House on Nov. 7.
