KKR to Launch Tender Offer for Forum Engineering at ¥1,710 per Share

KKR & Co. is launching an offer for Japan’s Forum Engineering Inc. at ¥1,710 per share.

The price is a premium of about 41% to Forum Engineering’s average closing price over the six months through Nov. 7, KKR and Forum Engineering said in a statement Monday. Forum Engineering’s board supports the offer, which opens Tuesday and will run to Dec. 23, and is recommending that investors tender their shares.
