The Minnesota Timberwolves have begun selling seat upgrades during games as part of a novel plan to keep the team’s ticket marketplace active until the final whistle.

Fans at the Target Center in Minneapolis are being offered the chance to move into seats in the first 20 rows during the game. Over the first three home games this season, the Timberwolves sold 159 upgrades at an average cost of about $34 per seat, according to Jump, the team’s ticketing platform.
