Aluminum traded near a three-year high, as investors weigh the impact of a cap on production in China.

Futures gained 0.1% on the London Metal Exchange. Supply concerns have propelled prices of the light metal to $2,920 a ton earlier this week, the highest since May 2022. Prices in the Shanghai Futures Exchange have also surged.
