The publisher of titles such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest already develops most of its games in Japan, but is cutting staff across offices in the US and the UK that handled publishing, marketing and other support functions. In a presentation to investors, the company said it expected to save 3 billion yen, or around $19.6 million, due to the restructuring.
