Propel Teams Up With Column to Expand US Credit Reach

Canadian fintech Propel Holdings Inc. is partnering with Column N.A., a bank founded by Plaid Inc. co-founder William Hockey, to expand its consumer-lending footprint across the US, according to a statement.

Under the deal, Column will provide unsecured personal loans through a new product called Freshline, which is expected to launch next year under Propel’s CreditFresh brand and its Lending-as-a-Service platform.
