Farage’s Reform Plans City of London Shakeup to Spark Growth

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK is drawing up plans for a broad shake-up of financial regulation, taxation and pensions in a bid to revive Britain’s economy if the party comes to power after the next election due by 2029.

Farage’s deputy, Richard Tice, told an event hosted by Bloomberg on Wednesday that he would set up four working groups focused on recalibrating how the City of London works. “My contention is that we need to look at four critical areas in order to try and generate growth, confidence, investment and belief,” said Tice, a former property investor.
