Congo Inflation Tumbles to 2.5% as IMF Staff Approve Loan Review

“Economic activity remained resilient” despite ongoing conflicts in Congo’s eastern region that “continued to exert significant pressures on public finances,” Calixte Ahokpossi, IMF Mission Chief for Congo, said in an emailed statement Wednesday.
