Treasuries Gain Across Curve as US Stocks Tumble From Records

Yields across maturities were lower by two to three basis points at 3:30 p.m. in New York, maintaining moves seen in Asian and European trading. The yield on the benchmark 10-year note hovered around 4.08%. Yields on other tenors remain near the year-to-date lows reached in the past month, reflecting worries that the US government shutdown — now tied for the longest on record — will impair economic growth.
