The production forecast would mark a 2% increase from the 2024-25 season, according to Conab. The gain comes as millers use more cane for sugar than fuel. Overall sugarcane output is seen at 666.4 million tons, down 1.6% year-over-year and lower than Conab’s earlier estimate.
