UBS Promotes EMEA ECM Chief Esteve to Global Co-Head

UBS Group AG has promoted Manuel Esteve to global co-head of equity capital markets, as part of plans to boost the Swiss lender’s market share of fundraising.

Esteve — previously head of ECM for Europe, the Middle East and Africa — will co-lead the bank’s equity underwriting business alongside Tommy Rueger, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg. A representative for UBS confirmed the contents of the memo.
