Nexperia China Says It Has Enough Stock Despite Supply Halt

The Chinese unit of Nexperia BV, a Dutch semiconductor company, has enough wafers stockpiled to fill orders for its customers, despite its parent company’s suspension of supplies to its assembly plant.

Nexperia China has sufficient inventory to ensure “secure and reliable” chip supply, according to a statement posted Sunday to its WeChat account. It also flagged “multiple contingency plans” and an accelerated process to obtain wafers from other sources.
