Milei’s Argentina Cabinet Chief Choice is a Mistake, Macri Says

Argentinian leader Javier Milei should not have chosen Manuel Adorni as cabinet chief, former President Mauricio Macri said, signaling tensions continue to simmer among the allies after last week’s mid-term election.

Macri described Adorni as “inexperienced” and a “mistaken” choice, according to a post on X. The cabinet chief position should have gone to someone with a “more technical profile” and capable of strategic coordination such as Horacio Marin, the head of state-run oil company YPF, he said.
