Australia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund Returns 13.7%, Aided by Stocks

Australia’s sovereign wealth fund recorded a 13.7% return for the 12 months through September, supported by equities and alternative assets.

The Future Fund’s assets climbed to A$261 billion ($171 billion) as of Sept. 30, up more than A$200 billion from an initial endowment in 2006, according to a statement Monday. The fund noted positive contributions from stocks, alternatives and infrastructure over the past year.
