Inflation Rises in Turkey’s Biggest City Ahead of National Data

Retail inflation ticked up in Istanbul, indicating that price pressures in Turkey remained strong ahead of national data for October that’s expected on Monday.

Inflation in the country’s commercial capital rose 3.31% month-on-month in October, exceeding September’s figure of 3.19%. Year-on-year inflation in the city increased to 40.84% from 40.75% in September.
