Telluride, a skiing hotspot in Colorado, is seeking to more than triple its ability to borrow to build more affordable housing.

Voters in the resort town, with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, will have an opportunity to decide on Nov. 4 if Telluride should have a debt limit of $64 million for such projects, up from $18 million. If the ballot measure is approved, it would set the maximum amount of debt the town can take on but wouldn’t require immediate borrowing.
